The Domestic Violence State Coordinating Council (DVSCC) and the Tennessee Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence will present a workshop for batterers' intervention programs in accordance with Tennessee Code Annotated § 36-3-601. This training will assist batterers' intervention programs applying for certification or currently certified programs which are seeking re-certification. This training will also review the application process as approved by the DVSCC.

Attendance at this training meets the requirement of Tennessee Code Annotated § 38-12-110, 0490-1-.07(8)(d) as authorized training for batterer intervention programs designated by the DVSCC.

As a prerequisite to your attendance, the Committee asks that you read the State Standards in full prior to the training. This will aid in your understanding of the training. A copy of the Standards can be found Here.

The training will be held Thursday, March 18, 2010 from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm at the International Plaza Office Building in Suite 301. This is located at 2 International Plaza Drive. The cost of the training will be $50.00 per person for program members and $75.00 for non-members.
